A collaboration between GE Transportation and project44 focused on integrating project44’s SaaS platform to augment and link GE’s railroad and shipper product suites was announced yesterday. Through this collaboration, the companies said GE Transportation is working towards utilizing a more predictable and reliable port-to-door supply chain ecosystem by connecting transportation data from railroad networks, yards, intermodal terminals and maritime ports into a single transportation management workflow.
